From Eventum

I'm a newbie, so I'm not going to mark up the actual wiki...but it seems to be that User Status should be discussed.

User Status

A user can have either an active status or an inactive status. Active users can log into the system, inactive users cannot.

For the definition of administrator, it should be also be noted that:

An administrator can be the administrator for more than one project, and a project can have more than one administrator. An administrator of any project has the authority in the system to see and edit the data for all projects, including making himself the administrator of another project.

Since this caused me so much worry...

Deleteing Users

Users cannot be deleted in order to maintain database integrity. Disable users by making their status inactive. A user can alo be dropped to no access for all projects but one. For the last one make him a viewer only.

Thus the deafult account administrator@company.com cannot be deleted. However since this user doesn't really "own" anything in the system, except the default project, this user can be chnaged into another by simply editing the user, and replacing ID, PW, and name with real information.

Permission Issue

I've just started using eventum 1.70 today, found a straight permission issue with user account. Say if we create project A and B, and having user Joe assigned as 'Administrator/Manger' to A, and 'No Access' to B. When login as Joe, we can still access project B and edit all parameters associated with project B. Should this be happening, as Joe is not even supposed to see project B, or have I done something wrong, or haven't done something right? --

This problem still exists in version 2.0.1. I haven't tried version 2.1.1. I was shocked after trying this, because it is the first big problem that i have came across with eventum. Is this supposed to work this way or is this a bug?
